ABOUT THIS PROJECT

This website is to foster and share PrEP practices. Here will focus on the HOW, not the WHY.  Putting PrEP into practice calls on diverse people acting in different roles.  Here, you will find pages and blogs for:

  • political leaders,
  • community educators and advocates,
  • medicines regulators,
  • general public health officials,
  • HIV public health officials,
  • clinic administrators,
  • clinicians,
  • counselors,
  • laboratory directors,
  • pharmacists,
  • PrEP users, and
  • Program Evaluators.

There is also a summary of evidence for PrEP and an archive of materials.  In each area, there are some materials provided, which aim to inform and inspire the evolution of PrEP practice.  There is a blog where people can comment and correct, and suggest ideas for improvement.

The overall goal is to create a diverse community brought together to offer PrEP and foster sexual health and wellness.  I hope that our community will come to love and trust each other, so that our connection will endure after the HIV/AIDS epidemic ends.
